Does not work outside your network. Works great as long as you are on same network. This means you cant get to it if you are away from your home.

This broadcasts your cam image over LAN. Thats it.

...Even outside that LAN as long as your firewall permits and your ports are routed properly. It would be nice if it could work without WiFi over the cellular network as well.

Crashes browser and I cant configure the type of stream.

It would be fine if it didnt crash every time after about 30 mins or so. Completely worthless. Dont waste your money.

Ok, it works fine at first, but later, the app on my iPod closes after a short while and I cannot view the camera. I have to reopen the app to get it going again and again, its an ip camera app for crying out loud and it wont stay on.

Dont buy this thinking its going to work like you want it to....or the way it should

- 10 Pure waste of money. One of the most useless apps there is. Put a negative sign in front of the star rating. The APP Store is a flea market. Buyer beware!

I love this app I use it on my iPad to watch what my surroundings are from my iPod touch 5g in a different area of the household. Worth the price. One thing to work on is that the app crashes on my iPod and stops the live stream, also, there is about a 30 second delay for me on good wifi so not super live stream. But a very useful app ;)

This app is not worth 1.99$ It is a disgrace of an app and I would never recommend it to anyone. I would like my money back asap. I completely hated this app, it has tons of lag and the ip at the bottom is small, also for the size, the ip switches between the two too fast. Why not just use 1 ip? Please give me a refund on this app.

It streams your iPhone camera feed to a web page for viewing. I like it because it worked right out of the box, allows me to specify a specific port number, enable a login, record and switch cameras. You can also toggle color audio resolution. In fact, the only feature I am missing is a rotate image button. That being said, this is a mjpeg streaming ip cam app. The frame rate, and lag severely impact the quality of the image when viewed in a web browser. But this comes with the territory, and not a fault with the app itself.

Dont see easy way to get support. Submitted issue in forum and did not get a response. I have no idea how to get my $ back.

It does work. I needed this to work with some standard mjpeg viewer software and it does work like that, so thats good. Unfortunately, the framerate is pretty disappointing. Regardless of how I set the framerate, resolution, and quality, I get maybe 5fps at best on my 5s. Another cam app I bought after this one has no such problem so I know its not a hardware / network limitation. Lastly, it would be nice if the actual resolution was shown in the options instead of just low / medium / high. My client software needed to know the actual resolution so it took some guesswork to get that working. Ill keep it installed because Ive already paid for it but I expect Ill mostly use the other cam app I bought (which was also less expensive) due to the framerate problem.

While setup is a snap, the usefulness of the application is minimal. The application must be first and foremost on the device. Meaning that you must have the application displayed on the screen. So you have your camera displayed on the device in order to use it. If you use the Blank Screen option (hahaha), what you have is a dim screen with a green line on the top. Not very useful as a security camera. Save your money.

I have purchased many iOS apps over the years. Very few are worth much, and even fewer provide support. I found that this app developer provided excellent support! As a result, I have even downloaded and used other apps produced by this same developer. I am very satisfied and would recommend purchasing IP Cam and other apps developed by Senstic.
